About

The Australian Innovation Management Institute (AIMI) is a membership-based, non-profit organisation, with the deep purpose of advancing the understanding and development of innovation and innovation management across Australia.

  • Promote innovation management excellence through capability-building, professional development, and the adoption of globally recognised standards and best practice;

  • Develop and share practical knowledge including frameworks, tools, case studies, research, and guidance that supports individuals and organisations to design, govern, measure, and continually improve innovation management practice, including innovation mindset, culture, and processes;

  • Convene the ecosystem by facilitating networks, communities of practice, events, and partnerships across industry, government, academia, and the community sector;

  • Publish and communicate thought leadership and insights via workshops, seminars, webinars, publications, and digital channels;

  • Provide independent, evidence-based advocacy to decision-makers on policy, capability, investment, and enabling conditions for innovation;

  • Partner and affiliate with aligned national and international bodies to connect Australia to global practice and collaboration; and

  • Undertake all activities incidental or conducive to achieving the above purpose.
